Formerly a designer with Penguin, Art Director for Macmillan Education Children’s Books and freelance Art Director for Papermac, I have now been a freelance book designer for over 20 years.
Extensive experience in non-fiction, particularly in the fields of cookery, gardening, health, and lifestyle, for the international and home markets.
Based in Hampshire, I am regularly in London, and am available to talk through projects directly with clients, be it new manuscripts, or book development from the very early stages through to the completed book, including the commissioning of photography and illustration.
With a fully-equipped mac-based studio, I work mainly in Indesign, Quark and Photoshop.
